SIALKOT: The Punjab Chief Minister Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that all available resources are being mobilized for the promotion of industrial sector aimed at enhancing the pace of productivity in the province. Addressing the members of Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) here on Monday afternoon, he said that special attention had also been focused on the development of agro-based industries in the Punjab. The Chief Minister said that government would extend all possible support and cooperation to the business community for setting up maximum industries. The promotion and development of agriculture and industrial sectors is on top of the agenda of the government to bring about green and industrial revolution in the province.
He pledged that under a network programme industries would be established for curtailing the ratio of unemployment and to eliminate the menace of poverty. Also, Mian Shahbaz Sharif stressed upon the industrialists of Sialkot to focus their attention on increasing the volume of exports from this export-oriented city and play their instrumental role in reducing the foreign exchange deficit.
